Ha okay. I have finally come to my senses. I don’t know if I’m going to regret this, but that’s for me to figure out later on. As of now, I have decided that by midnight (ecey so drama) of the end of this year & the beginning of a new year, this blog, is going private.

I think I have had enough of feeling like I’m being judged wrongly by people who don’t know me very well. See, sometimes (not all the time), I go around reading people’s blogs and I criticize them for what they write. I’m not talking about the big issues like politics and shit, but more like, well — the little things lah. Things that basically annoy me just because that’s not the way I see things. And how often is that that you can completely agree with that person’s every opinion?

Like, I know (I don’t think, I just know for sure) how awesome I am. And ha see, some of who just know me as this fat Chinese girl and nothing beyond that, are probably already raising an eyebrow reading that statement. But truth is, I’m sure we all feel the same way. It’s just that, unless you know me very well, it’s really hard to tell how awesome I am based on what you see on this blog. I’m also pretty sure even the people closest to me might not get my sarcasm sometimes, because I quite fail lah at blogging. I try to be like purposely annoying, but sometimes when I read back my entries (yes, I am that self centered thanks) I do find myself annoying. Like not on purpose, annoying. What more to you strangers, ha?

I am scared of people judging me, but not after they have met me and got to know me. If you’ve spent weeks with me and still find me as annoying as I sound through my blog, then be a hater all you want, that’s your choice, I ain’t going private. It’s the fact that (maybe) you start having this perception that I’m this lame girl desperately seeking for attention through a blog that is disturbing me. There’s more to me and the life I live than this blog, and I’m not digging a deeper hole in allowing this blog define who I am.

The main reason why I’m not just packing this whole blog and throwing it into the garbage downstairs is because it has value to me. I’ve scribbled from the most important things, to the most ridiculous entries a blog can ever have, but as ridiculous as it is, I want to be able to read it when I’m older and remember who I was. (Hi older me! Hope you’re married to the man of your dreams hehehe and have the most adorable kids a mom can ever have! And even if that all didn’t happen, which is rather sad really HAHAHA, just live the best out of it, like what you’ve been doing all your life :D)

Just because I’m making it private, doesn’t mean I won’t be updating anymore. So from the 1st of January 2010 onwards, this blog will only be for the people closest to  me. I can already sense that light beaming through you thinking “Ahhh I’m definitely making the list! We so kamching sure listed one!” Well, that depends lah kan hahaha chey like so fehmes liddat. But it’s not that. And here’s where the second reason comes in. As cliche as this sounds, I want to keep the people close to me updated with my life. I know I know, there’s the telephone, e-mails, Skype, MSN and what not, but it’s not the same.

So there ye go! I hope that all made sense. Well it better make sense! I hope you had an enjoyable time with my blog, and there are other ways of keeping in touch with me *coughfacebooktwitteremailcough*, so yep! Do keep in touch, have a Happy Merry Christmas and Happy 2010 yawl!

First (out of 3 pretty awesome weeks) week:

Planned to play cards with a couple of housemates and a couple of friends. Ended up with 6 out of 7 housemates, and 6 friends. Hehehe! Wasn’t exactly playing cards pun lah, it was actually some Mafia game or something. I don’t know :/ I call it Killer HAHAHA. I like how my housemates and some of my friends pronounce it though, “Killarh”.

Anyways! Angela stayed over that night and here’s what we ate for dinnarh! LOLS.

Finally went to try out the lunch buffet at The Gate! :D Hehhh buffet equals happiness. Went with my coursemates. Previously the restaurant was known as Wok Mania, but somehow they changed management and now it’s Gekko.

There was a variety of food lah! And I totally went bonkers looking at the different types of food and thinking woaahh after months I’m so going to pig out on these! Especially since there were Asian food!

Alah but now if you ask me what dishes were there, I’d prolly only be able to tell you there were erm, mee goreng, curry, nasi goreng, sushi, pizzas, crepes, nachos, soups etc.

So, verdict of Gekko! I thought the food was pretty good, but maybe because it’s been so long since I last ate such good food :P But for £6.99 (for lunch) per person, it sure is worth it! Where laaa can you get that price in KL right? This one some more got people do pizzas for you personally one ok! And since there was a student discount, each of us only paid £5.25.

I’m so bringing my family here next year :P And whoever wishes to visit me anytime soon? :(

Happy birthday Ashley Chan who just turned 1 year old today! Aaahhhhh I want to play witchuuuuu :(

One of my housemates got us tickets to go watch an ice hockey match at Metro Radio Arena last Sunday. Well actually she gave us tickets to another match before, but because it was quite far and required us to use the Metro at 6pm (if I’m not mistaken), we decided not to lah.

So yayy, first ice hockey match! Newcastle’s Vipers against Sheffield’s Steelers.

After Vipers scored their first goal, people started throwing bags that seemed like rubbish into the rink. We were all like, ehhh?? Wtf is going on?

Then the announcer said something about charity, bidding, lucky draw etc you get the idea. ‘Twas then I realized the audience were throwing things they’d like to donate. One Winne the Pooh plush toy got threw into the rink jugak hahaha. Sad.

During the first break, me and Dionn went exploring and saw these plates on the wall. Couldn’t spot MCR’s though! But they performed at this very arena before! Sighhh ;(

I don’t know guiseeee, having a blog is very.. um, how do I say this.. it’s a little annoying in a way, if you don’t handle it the right way.

See, when I get too bored and have nothing to do, sometimes I’d just read a random post on my blog (btw you can so totally do what I did too girls! Jyeaahaa like just hover your mouse over the Blog Info tab, and like click on Random Post! Like, I know right? It’s so totally awesomeeee? Well ok maybe only I can do that bcs I have an account with WordPress. Nevermind). Okay like this post for example, how annoying is that? It’s sooooooo annoying right? I knoww! Like totally annoying.

But only if, IF! you didn’t get what I meant! HAH!

(I so have a feeling this post is going to be the latest addition to the “Entries I’ll Regret Publishing List”)

Anyways.

And then there are entries like this reminding you of how great life has been for you whileyourefrikkinbackinmalaysiaandcansototallygetmorefreepassestoawesomeconcertsliketherecentAARgig and life isn’t that fucked up after all. You know?

And this, which gets you thinking really, “WTF man? Seriously!” And this, which is blaahh.. yeah.. like so bleh, right?

Nope! It reminds me of how good it felt to hold a brand new camera you’ve been dying to own for years and finally having it in your hands just in time to take photos at an event (with kids -.-) where you’d want to tell the whole world about! YEAH MAN. Like taking vocal lessons and busting that move to Camp Rock’s Asta La Vista or something. Jyeah!

And then there are entries like this which I treasure and totally adore (hah I know right? I’m so annoying) because it reminds me of things I’ve dealt with in life, like actually interning at a company I absolutely respect but had hmm, let’s see, a rather small amount of good time at. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my internship and I’ve learned tonnes. But the people you meet along the way matters as well, and too bad for me, I just didn’t fit in! Yeah I know right. I didn’t say anything about that before, but there you go! Laugh all you want! I’m not sorry for not fitting in, I don’t regret interning there, and I most certainly would not have spent that three months doing something else.

Then there’s this entry which reminds me of how my time at TARc wasn’t that bad after all. I blabbed and blabbed and blabbed some more about how effed up that college is and how annoyed I was traveling up & down for classes, and then I read that entry and it just doesn’t seem that bad anymore. (God I sound emo!) If it wasn’t for TARc I would not have met the bunch. I’ve gots to thank the 4 (or more) people that have made through our 2 years of Diploma with me. So thanks y’all! TARc would’ve sucked (so much more) without you guys :)

This entry pulak, just really got me thinking. I actually managed to go to both events I wanted to go so badly! Okay fine I did not get passes to MAA ‘08 but I was there! In fact I’m thankful I did not score any passes to the awards because I gots to see the artists leave the awards up close! In yer face beecheeehhsss! And I also did go to Panic’s concert! Aaaaahhhh good times, good times.

Okay since I’m so gedik and I want to gedik about all my gedik entries, I’ll just keep it brief and compile a list!

Like how I was reading this one blog and I was soooooooooooo pissed off at the blogger for being so ridiculously annoying. Ahem Porky you know who I’m talking about? Heehee. I always and (I think) will forever see most (READ: most) of my entries as cool, and will not deem them as annoying nor tahpape. But I think I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Blogging kind of creates this platform for you to put yourself out there for people to judge you. So accept it. It’s your choice after all kan.

Am I really the person you picture me to be based on what you see on this blog? I’d personally and honestly say no. I’m definitely not what this blog says of me. But whatever’s here, are all true (except ones where I’ll end up with “Then I woke up.” Hehe cos I iz so kick ass liddat). It’s just that, if you were to meet me in person and actually have a conversation with me, you’d notice I’m no where near the person who this blog seems to portray.

If ever, I do seem to be that person (or more) around you, you should be thanking your lucky stars because it only means I trust you and I feel comfortable around you.

So yeah. I totally came clean today.

Hokayy, finally handed in my research proposal earlier today, so that means a few days of rest and bumming before the crazy stuff start kicking in. Well, things have been pretty interesting this coupla days.

Like uh, well yes, handing in of proposal! Been working very quite hard on it for weeks, so I hope it’s good :) And the other 3rd year students are finally back from their placements, which means I (also) finally met my other coursemates.

Our first class as a whole course wasn’t near fun, at all. I think it had more to do with the person I was paired with, and the friends of the person I was paired with? So I shall not make further judgments of them classmates till much later.

Today’s class though, was fun! Again, had group discussions and this time I met friendly classmates! Hahaha sad. The international students are awesome (except one MFB), so that needs no further explanations lah. We’ve been around each other’s noses for the past 6 weeks, so we’ve pretty much warmed up.

And we finally got our wired Internet connection. Connection’s pretty stable and fast (at times) so far, so yay to that. Because as some of you might have heard (!), our previous wireless connection was quite a pain.

Oh if you’re wondering how I spent my first Halloween in the UK, I spent it doing my proposal (Y). And nope! Did not go out, did not dress up (omg Li went as the cutest thing everr I swear I want to bite her. She went as Twister! That game!), did not go trick or treating. Doubt anyone does that anymore at this age anyway.

Ah fudge, my life is not that sad here ok. It is  not, I can assure you. No wait, I don’t think I can. HAH. But I’m doing fine! Wait till I start working on my research then I’ll go berserk. BEE-TEE-DOUBLE-YOU (BTW HARHAR), I can’t imagine myself doing this study alone. Heck, I don’t even know what I’m doing. All I know is I have to do what I gotta do, and if there’s ever a chance, nail it.

Oohhh my little sister is graduating from secondary school today! Aww she’s grown so much :’) I love you sis, you’re awesome. Loves youuu, like crazy <3
