Hokayy, finally handed in my research proposal earlier today, so that means a few days of rest and bumming before the crazy stuff start kicking in. Well, things have been pretty interesting this coupla days.

Like uh, well yes, handing in of proposal! Been working very quite hard on it for weeks, so I hope it’s good :) And the other 3rd year students are finally back from their placements, which means I (also) finally met my other coursemates.

Our first class as a whole course wasn’t near fun, at all. I think it had more to do with the person I was paired with, and the friends of the person I was paired with? So I shall not make further judgments of them classmates till much later.

Today’s class though, was fun! Again, had group discussions and this time I met friendly classmates! Hahaha sad. The international students are awesome (except one MFB), so that needs no further explanations lah. We’ve been around each other’s noses for the past 6 weeks, so we’ve pretty much warmed up.

And we finally got our wired Internet connection. Connection’s pretty stable and fast (at times) so far, so yay to that. Because as some of you might have heard (!), our previous wireless connection was quite a pain.

Oh if you’re wondering how I spent my first Halloween in the UK, I spent it doing my proposal (Y). And nope! Did not go out, did not dress up (omg Li went as the cutest thing everr I swear I want to bite her. She went as Twister! That game!), did not go trick or treating. Doubt anyone does that anymore at this age anyway.

Ah fudge, my life is not that sad here ok. It is  not, I can assure you. No wait, I don’t think I can. HAH. But I’m doing fine! Wait till I start working on my research then I’ll go berserk. BEE-TEE-DOUBLE-YOU (BTW HARHAR), I can’t imagine myself doing this study alone. Heck, I don’t even know what I’m doing. All I know is I have to do what I gotta do, and if there’s ever a chance, nail it.

Oohhh my little sister is graduating from secondary school today! Aww she’s grown so much :’) I love you sis, you’re awesome. Loves youuu, like crazy <3

Hi yaw! Nothing much has been happening this few days, so my presence here is really just to make sure you don’t forget about the existence of this blog (and me).

Yeeennyways, I’ve started (finally!) working on my dissertation proposal and man am I clueless. But today we were told who our supervisors are, so there’s really no reason for me to procrastinate longer. And! Submission date for the proposal’s in less than a week! And I’m not even halfway through it!

And I don’t know why but I’ve been having this severe headache since yesterday. It’s bad, but definitely not having a fever. I’ll take my meds if it doesn’t go away soon. Bcs it’s bothering mehhh!

Hmkay I was supposed to have a 10am class earlier today, but our lecturer had to reschedule to 1pm, so I went to the library! The library’s so calming I should so spend more time there. I can’t seem to get anything done in my room so a trip to the library can do me so much good.

And uh, ape lagi ah.

Ahh, this headache hor. Ok gtg. Bai!

Okay it’s 10.56PM on a Wednesday night and I have no one to talk to. Everyone else in Malaysia is sleeping — almost waking up actually. And it’s too early for me to go to bed. I don’t want to sleep before 12AM fearing I’d wake up too early in the morning with nothing to do.

Well that’s about all there is to my life here for now. iSleep, iPoop, iEat, iSurfthefrikkinInternet, iSkype, iDolaundry and iGroceryshop. There you go, my life in Newcastle, in a nutfreakingshell.

Sigh I miss Malaysia, I miss home, I miss my people, I miss seeing familiar faces everytime I step into Shah Alam Mall. Don’t worry kids, I’m not crying. I’m just doing a little, missing.

Been watching a whole lot of Grey’s, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. Too much in fact, that I’ve ran out of episodes to watch because they’ve not aired it yet. And because of that, I’ve been downloading movies too! Downloaded A Walk To Remember, The Kite Runner and Juno. Watched the AWTR a while ago and why did I not cry buckets! What is wrong with me!

Watching all this isn’t helping me at all. It only reminds me of how single (hu hu) and lonely (hu hu hu) I am.

Okay screw the lovey doveyneszy. Only people in love have the rights to rant about that. People like me? We talk about life. AND THAT’S HARDCORE! RAAWWRRR!

Hahaha I’m clearly out of my mind so please don’t go leaving hate comments now, ladies and gents.

On to a more serious matter. I’ve been thinking about this for a good few years now, and yep, still counting. Who am I? What do I want in life? I know it’s a bit hekeleh to talk about on a blog, because I iz no writerz. And I can’t crap shit about life (fine, fine). But it’s bothering me that I’m hitting 21 in a few months and all I know about myself is I enjoy having the time of my life at concerts and I’m a homey person.

And what’s bothering me more is how indecisive and unsure I am about doing anything with my life!

Eh, been a month since I left Malaysia….

Celebrated one of my flat mates; Rachel’s 22nd birthday last Saturday. The girl bought most of the stuff. No wait, she did buy everything.

Okay I’m just too lazy to put captions and cerita about the pictures satu-satu. We basically gathered all 7 of us together for the first time. We sat in the kitchen from 9pm till 12.30am. Although I could only understand 13.5% of the whole conversation, I had fun :)

And speaking of birthdays, yesterday was Aeisyah’s! Sorry babe I couldn’t wish you at 12am tepat heh heh sebab when I remembered to do so, it was after 12am dah. Sad :(

Heee I miss you! Have fun being 19 woman! And I’ll see you when we both get our asses back in Malaysia next year ok? Don’t worry about going back to Cairo, just think about when you’ll be coming back to Malaysia! I love you!

Whatever I do, I always hoped you’re all here with me experiencing what I’m experiencing.

I wouldn’t mind not going back if only I had all of you here with me.

Some days are fine, some days aren’t. When it isn’t, I always wished you were here with me.

Will things be the same when I get back?

Regretting coming here is the last thing I want to be doing. I just wished I was more independent. Hah, funny how I now know how dependable I was. Or maybe I’m just a family person. I like being home. I hate being away from my family. Of course being nagged at is unnecessary at my age but that’s all part of growing up, isn’t it?

Anyways, no worries, I’m doing okay here. There’s really nothing to be worried about anyway. Except Dionn and I almost got blew of the Byker’s Bridge earlier today because of the strong wind. I swear it was the scariest (and a bit funny la I almost peed in my pants being scared aaaand because of laughing) thing. Imagine being on a super long bridge with groceries on each hand (not to forget HEAVY thanks) and there’s no friggin’ shelter for you to hide behind when there’s this crazy son of a beech wind blowing against you.

The wind was so bloody strong that it stopped us from moving forward. I was pushed, me. If Dionn was walking alone on the bridge, she would’ve been pushed smack straight to the railings.

Okaylah just wanted to give yawl updates :) Free-free tu borak lah with me. I’m bored 99.7% of my time anyway, so speak to me! Hahaha would definitely love the company when Jasmine goes to sleep at 3AM Malaysian time every night lawls.
